When I started into the Social Media
I thought I'd be stuck in minute to minute pushback from the population,
and I really had to ask myself if I was prepared to deal with that!
IT'S BEEN NOTHING BUT LIKES AND LOVES AND HOPE!!
And over 2 million eyes on the Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube posts!
It just keeps rising!
Instagram , LinkedIn , Twitter, etc... there is no way I could have handled this end if there was a great resistance to the Vancouver Island Railway.
Lost Hope because of lost Faith

The most common dissenting comments come from those who
actually love the idea,
but have
"lost all faith that a sensible decision will be made!"
and have lost hope and feel like its just too late!
or their sentiment is that we Islanders are not worthy somehow?
YOU ARE WORTHY!
WE ARE WORTHY!
and its not too late!
There is pre-committed money in the budget
to spend on infrastructure this fiscal year!
That no longer has a project!
The per-capita spending on Vancouver Island
residents over the last term can be made more fair!
the intent was there, but it was a little misguided
So let's do what's right
for ALL Vancouver Islanders,
So we can feel more comfortable supporting the continuous
SkyTrain extensions and Train acquisitions in Vancouver,
and be acknowledged as
One fifth of BC's population!
I have faith the powers that be see it!
The more I go over this, the more I think they are just
"Waiting in the wings"
for the right time to announce it!
Politics!
In the mean time, let's show them how much this could mean to
Vancouver Islanders in general, but especially
our
Elderly, Disabled, Disadvantaged and any Anxious drivers
who really have no other choice but to drive!
