Commuters would not be intimidated
or confused when looking at a transit map
with the Vancouver Island Rail Corridor at the centre of it
Looking like an "L"
at the beginning.
They would take advantage of an inexpensive, accessible, easily to navigate Passenger train service that passes through the splendors our Island's hills, valleys, water-falls, mountains and views of the Strait of Georgia and the Juan de Fuca Straight backed my Mt. Baker.
They would see vantage points
seen by few Islanders in the last 2 decades.

It comes every year, and we lose lots of lives!
Vancouver Islanders like everyone else live from moment to moment trying to make ends meet while shackled to the chains of Fuel, Insurance, maintenance and car payments.
Any passenger service or freight solution that relies on our single highway is subject to road conditions.
Intercity buses could be used elsewhere and to connect terminals!
The train connects all the major communities up and down the island and would provide consistent levels of service, service that can be relied up on and connected to other forms of local transportation at terminals.
The costs are extremely cheap the bigger the support gets, and industry and investors just need reconciliation aspects negotiated and agreed to.
This 2017 report on Vancouver Island showed 4,430,000 Visitors game to Vancouver Island in 2017, with 43% being overnight, and it's grown a lot since then. We've won awards for Tourism for Vancouver Island and many of our cities like Victoria, Nanaimo, Sidney, Langford, and more!
The latest indications are that there will be over
5 Million overnight visitors in 2022
Many countries have active rail systems with business shuttles to bring tourists and residents to the wonderful sights and experiences that their locations have to offer.
What location in the world has more to offer than Vancouver Island?
Are you seeing the business from the
5 Million overnight visitors Vancouver Island gets every year?
What would happen if the travelling part was
inexpensive, accessible, convenient, and reliable?
Tourists would have more money to spend at your business
