Tourists would not be intimidated
or confused when looking at a transit map
with the Vancouver Island Rail Corridor at the centre of it
Looking like an "L".
They would take advantage of an easily navigable Passenger train service that passes through the splendors our Island's hills, valleys, water-falls, mountains and views of the Strait of Georgia and the Juan de Fuca Straight backed my Mt. Baker.
They would see vantage points
seen by few Islanders in the last 2 decades.
We get LOTS and LOTS of tourists
over 5 Million a year!

Business visitors often have to go to different cities on the island, and its true they would likely rent cars during the periods of rain or other inclement weather, but a lot of business leaders are health conscious and would love to use a bike. Cycling all the way to Nanaimo from Victoria might be pushing the distance a little too far without a shower on the other end.
It's not hard to imagine that they would bring a bike on the train and ride the city portion of the trip, or walk or hike the last leg.
Canadians and people living around the globe who have family, friends, and colleagues living on Vancouver Island
will come visit from time to time.
They will attend Religious Ceremonies or Events,
They will come Support when ill or injured
They will come to Congratulate them,
They will come to attend Funerals
They will come to Weddings,
They will come to attend
the birth of a new family member!
and more!
The Vancouver Island Corridor will get used by people that come from all over the world where trains are at the core of their transportation systems.
Because they are familiar and trusted!
We've just forgotten how great a new track and a modern train is!

This 2017 report on Vancouver Island showed 4,430,000 Visitors game to Vancouver Island in 2017, with 43% being overnight, and it's grown a lot since then. We've won awards for Tourism for Vancouver Island and many of our cities like Victoria, Nanaimo, Sidney, Langford, and more!
The latest indications are that there will be over
5 Million overnight visitors in 2022
Many countries have active rail systems with business shuttles to bring tourists and residents to the wonderful sights and experiences that their locations have to offer.
What location in the world has more to offer than Vancouver Island?
Are you seeing the business from the
5 Million overnight visitors Vancouver Island gets every year?
What would happen if the travelling part was
inexpensive, accessible, convenient, and reliable?
Tourists would have more money to spend at your business
